Who is Juliana ?
The bicycle/figure cycling team from Millingen aan de Rijn was founded in
1909, when princess Juliana of the Netherlands was born, which explains the
name of the team.The team has risen to both national and international fame
and is unique in the field of bicycle acrobatics. In this wellbalanced
branche of sports this team is a class of its own. The show and equipment
were developed by the members of the Juliana team themselves, which is why
the show is unique in its kind.
What is a figure cycling show ?
It's the building of pyramids while cycling; it's a grown man riding a
tiny bike, the smallest in Europe. A grand finale, with 9 unicycles, varying
in height from 30 centimeters to 5 metres and the closing number, a 6 metre
high pyramid.
